Lets talk about your wedding
“My wife and I cannot recommend you highly enough! The whole process from booking through to execution was faultless and easy. You were able to capture the day perfectly without having the photos staged. We actually didn’t notice him at all on our wedding day, such was the subtle nature of his style. Many of our guests have also commented on our photos, quoting that our photographer was “epic”. We will be using your services again in the future and will recommend to all our family and friends!” – Nick & Jolene
Frequently Asked Questions
Unfortunately, we don’t hold dates. Our photography is booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. And it is not uncommon for multiple people to enquire for key dates throughout the year.
After your wedding venue, your photographer should be the next wedding supplier you book. The top Hunter Valley photographers will book out 12-24 months in advance.
Yes. This is the only time I will do posed photos of people. We find the best time for this is immediately after the ceremony. So you are not doing posed family photos for an hour, please try to limit the photos to just immediate family.
Please have one or two people on hand to find family members and to read names from a list if you have one. As your photographer will not know who anyone is.
No. This goes against the whole premise of candid wedding photography. It interrupts the whole flow of the day, stop conversations and forces people to gather together while your photographer is screaming at the top of their lungs to call everybody. It is also not a very good photo. You will see the front row of people and the eyes of everyone else if you are lucky.
The turn around time is generally around 4 to 6 weeks. You will receive your photos through your online gallery where you can view, share and download the full resolution images.
Yes and no. If you want a photo with your bridal party looking at the camera, we can take a photo of them during family photos. But we won’t take you or your bridal party around your property and do a series of orchestrated and posed photos. We would prefer to take photos of you having an awesome time with your bridal party and your wedding guests. Have a picnic with them in the vines, play lawn games with everyone, drink and dance with people. Just have an awesome time. They will be more meaningful photos.
If you want some we definitely can. But we recommend limiting the time to just 15 – 30 minutes and doing it at sunset. It will probably be the first time you will have been alone for the entire wedding and it can be a nice time to just breathe and focus on each other.
We don’t believe in taking you away from your guests for hours on end and going to a dozen different locations. You should be making memories with your family & friends, not hanging out with your photographer.
Yes all the photos are fully edited to the style that you see on our website. They are adjusted for exposure, colour temperature, contrast and certain areas are darkened or lightened. We do not remove people from photos or distort body features or shapes.
You are also given a full set of images in colour and a full set in black & white.
Please get in contact with us using the form on our website and we can check availability. If we are available, it is a $1,000 deposit to lock in and hold your date 🙂
