The Tinonee Vineyard Estate wedding of Bec & Lee was a really beautiful and and gorgeous wedding in the Hunter Valley of NSW.
The little village of Broke in the Hunter Valley is where Tinonee Vineyard Estate is located. This lovely Hunter Valley wedding venue is about 20 minutes from the main tourist area of Pokolbin. What I love about Broke is that it is quieter than Poklolbin and it is more scenic. It is located closer to the Brokenback Mountain Range so the views are just epic. And it has a much more rural feel.
Tinonee Vineyard Estate has 50 acres of land and the minute to drive into this estate you know you are in wine country. As you drive through the entrance, you are surrounded on all side with rows and rows of vineyards which are just beautiful for wedding photography.
There are two accommodation properties onsite at Tinonee. Bec got ready in the main house called The Residence. And Lee got ready in the other property is called The Dairy Cottage.
The wedding ceremony took place in the garden to the side of The Residence and the location was perfect. between two trees with the vineyard in the background. The positioning of the ceremony was also perfect for photography. The sunlight was behind the couple and filtered through the trees giving a nice warm, even light. So if you are planning a wedding and wondering where to position your outdoor ceremony, then this is a great way to do it.
The other thing that was lovely was that Bec’s father walked her out of the house and around the verandah. Then Lee met her at the bottom of the stairs and walked her the rest of the way down the aisle.
There were lots of laughs and heaps of fun had by all during and after the ceremony. We did a few photos around the property in the warm afternoon sun and then they headed off to dinner.
Tinonee Vineyard Estate is a beautiful place a wedding. The onsite accommodation means that you can both get ready onsite and still not see each other. It also means that once you arrive at the vineyard you don’t need to go anywhere else. And if you love wine and always wanted a vineyard wedding, then this could be the perfect place.
They don’t offer wedding receptions, so you can either do it yourself and have a small dinner inside The Residence. Or you can go to one of the many restaurants around Broke and the Hunter Valley.
